Since Jacquesson has moved to the philosophy of only releasing the 700 series wine every year, they decided to hold some back each year for an extended aging period on the lees with natural cork (sous-liège) and to release this wine as "Dégorgement Tardif" 5 years later.
Cuvée No 743 DT is based on the 2015 vintage and includes roughly 20% of reserve wines. It was aged for 89 months on the lees with natural cork (sous-liège) before the disgorgement in March 2024. The bouquet is rich and aromatic yet very fine, showing a nice oxidative style and refreshing citrus flavors. The palate is highly elegant, finessed, well-balanced and quite charming. No dosage, brut taure. The 743 DT has enough fruit and roundness. The finish is pure, fresh and salty but also juicy. Quite lean.
Only 19'900 bottles were produced.
