EGLY-OURIET Les Crayeres Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs

This Blanc de Noirs simply belongs to the very best. The magnificent terroir of the plot "Les Crayères" in Grand Cru Ambonnay, guided by the hand of the cult winemaker Francis Egly. Vieilles Vignes is also his masterpiece, where he succeeded in capturing the essence of Pinot Noir from the limestone-mineral soils of old vines. 

The Pinot Noir vines, planted in 1946, are on limestone soils up to 15 meters deep with little soil; conventional farming, spontaneous and thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging for 12 months in barrels, bottling without filtration or fining, bottle aging. Maturation on lees for over 5 years and the magical touch of the winemaker created this magical potion.
